Elenjical (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights. It is written to align with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the GDPR.

Information we collect

• Enquiries, when you use our contact form: your name, email, phone (optional) and message.
• Job applications, your name, email, phone, a cover note and any CV you upload.
• Analytics, anonymous usage data: pages viewed, referring site, approximate country (derived from your IP, which we do not store), browser type, and a first-party session identifier. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Cookies

We set a single first-party cookie (es_sid) to count unique visits for our own analytics. It contains a random identifier only and is not shared with any third party. CMS administrators also have a session cookie used purely for signing in.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and process job applications.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in our database (hosted on Render) and uploaded files (e.g. CVs) in Cloudflare R2 object storage, accessible only via short-lived secure links. Email notifications are sent via Postmark. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention

We keep enquiry and application data only as long as needed for the purpose it was provided, then delete or anonymise it.
