We are looking for a Murex Front Office Consultant to join our South African team.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Murex Front Office functionality.

• Set up and validate static data, market data and curves.

• Configure E-Tradepad, pre-trade rules, Simulation and Live Book views.

• Investigate pricing, valuation, position, P&L and risk-related issues.

• Support Front Office and Middle Office users.

• Gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT and regression testing.

• Assist with releases, upgrades, deployments and production incidents.

• Produce functional, configuration and testing documentation.

• Provide user training and post-implementation support.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on Murex Front Office experience.

• Knowledge of financial instruments, trade lifecycles and derivative pricing.

• Understanding of P&L, sensitivities, and financial risk measures.

• Experience in one or more of the following:

• Fixed Income

• Interest Rate Derivatives

• Money Markets

• Foreign Exchange

• Commodities

• Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing and production support.

• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Risk Management or a related field.

CFA, FRM, PRM or CQF qualifications are advantageous.
